Agate is a kind of jade stone. From all the way back to ancient China, people were talking about 'take care of Jade'. By saying 'taking care', it takes quite some effort and knowledge. As for taking care of agate, you may need to pay attention on the following aspects:

1.  To avoid hitting agate product with any other hard things. Because agate is a kind of hard stone, it is easy to get broken by hitting on other hard things. It needs to be carefully putting onto flat place or be kept in a soft box.

2. To try to avoid agate product from dirt or oil. Please use soft fabric to clean it in general if there is any dirt on agate. In case there is any oil dirt on agate, please use warm soap water to wash and use normal water to wash again before putting back.

3. Please try to avoid direct sun shine for too long, or too hot environment or too cold environment. So to avoid the heat or cold affects agate quality.

4. Please try to avoid keeping agate together with perfume or any chemical product, so it won't affect the color or brightness of the agate. 

 5. Please try to use soft white fabric to clean agate product, to avoid scratching the agate. It can help to keep the original quality  of the agate.

 6. The environment of agate needs to be humid enough. Too dry environment can also harm the quality of agate itself.
